Description

DOT-Approved Clear Windshield for 2008-2022 EZGO RXV

Prepare your EZGO RXV for improved weather protection and street-use upgrades with the SGC MOAB DOT-Approved Clear Folding Windshield.

Designed specifically for 2008-2022 EZGO RXV golf carts, WSRX11 combines clear construction, a folding configuration, heavy-duty 4mm thickness, and Steeleng’s stated DOT approval.

It is the recommended SGC RXV windshield when DOT approval and clear forward visibility are more important than a tinted finish or integrated airflow vents.

Manufacturer-Stated DOT Approval

Steeleng identifies WSRX11 as a DOT-approved windshield. This makes it the appropriate choice within the SGC RXV windshield lineup for customers whose local street-use requirements call for a manufacturer-designated AS4 DOT windshield.

The DOT approval applies to the windshield itself. It does not certify the entire golf cart for operation on public roads.

Clear Forward Visibility

Unlike the tinted WSRX01 and WSRX10 windshields, WSRX11 uses a clear finish.

Clear construction provides an unobstructed view through the windshield and may be preferred for:

• Evening or nighttime operation
• Early-morning driving
• Cloudy or low-light conditions
• Neighborhood transportation
• Commercial or property use
• Carts being prepared for permitted street operation
• Drivers who prefer clarity over a tinted appearance

The clear finish also coordinates easily with both factory and customized EZGO RXV carts.

Folding Windshield Design

WSRX11 uses a folding configuration that allows the upper section to be lowered when additional airflow is desired.

Keep the windshield raised when you want additional coverage from:

• Wind
• Dust
• Insects
• Light road debris
• Cool seasonal air
• Changing weather conditions

Fold the upper section down when you want a more open-air driving experience.

Always stop the cart before raising or lowering the windshield and make sure the panel is properly secured before driving.

Heavy-Duty 4mm Construction

SGC manufactures WSRX11 at a 4mm thickness, which Steeleng describes as thicker than the industry standard.

The added thickness gives the windshield a more substantial construction for everyday golf cart use while retaining the flexibility of a folding design.

EZGO RXV Compatibility

Fits

• EZGO RXV
• 2008-2022 model years

Verify the cart’s model year and windshield-support configuration before ordering, particularly if it has an aftermarket roof, replacement roof supports, or other modifications.

Does Not Fit

• 2023-up EZGO RXV unless compatibility is independently confirmed
• EZGO TXT
• EZGO Freedom
• EZGO Valor
• Club Car models
• Yamaha models
• Carts with incompatible or substantially modified windshield supports

Which EZGO RXV Windshield Should You Choose?

WSRX01 — Standard Tinted Folding Windshield

Choose WSRX01 if you want a straightforward tinted folding windshield at the most economical price point.

WSRX10 — MOAB Vented Tinted Windshield

Choose WSRX10 if you want a premium tinted folding windshield with dedicated left and right airflow vents.

WSRX11 — MOAB DOT-Approved Clear Windshield

Choose WSRX11 (this listing) if clear construction and Steeleng’s stated DOT approval are more important than tint or integrated vents.

All three options are manufacturer-listed for 2008-2022 EZGO RXV models, but their finish, ventilation, and DOT characteristics differ.

Street-Legal Considerations

WSRX11 is identified by Steeleng as DOT approved, but a compliant windshield is only one potential requirement for street operation.

Depending on state and local regulations, an EZGO RXV may also need:

• Headlights and taillights
• Turn signals
• Brake lights
• Horn
• Driver and passenger mirrors
• Seat belts
• Reflectors
• License-plate bracket and light
• DOT-approved tires
• Vehicle identification or documentation
• Additional locally required equipment

Installing individual safety components does not automatically make a golf cart street legal.

Always check the requirements for the exact state, county, city, community, or property where the cart will be operated.
