Description
4″ AllSports A-Arm Lift Kit for Yamaha Drive2
Give your 2017-present Yamaha Drive2 additional ground clearance, larger wheel-and-tire capability, and a stronger custom stance with the AllSports 4″ A-Arm Lift Kit.
Because Yamaha Drive2 carts were produced with different powertrain and rear-suspension configurations, this listing is available in three application-specific versions.
Choose the variation that matches your cart:
- Drive2 Electric
- Drive2 Gas
- Drive2 with Independent Rear Suspension
Selecting the correct configuration is important because the rear suspension components differ between Drive2 models.
Choose the Correct Drive2 Configuration
Drive2 Electric
Choose the Drive2 Electric variation for compatible 2017-present electric Drive2 carts that use the standard applicable rear suspension configuration.
This package combines the AllSports 4″ front A-arm suspension with the rear lift components required for the applicable electric Drive2 setup.
Drive2 Gas
Choose the Drive2 Gas variation for compatible 2017-present gas-powered Drive2 carts using the standard applicable rear suspension configuration.
This version includes the appropriate rear lift components for the gas Drive2 application.
Drive2 with Independent Rear Suspension
Choose the Independent Rear Suspension variation if your Yamaha Drive2 is equipped with an IRS rear suspension.
This is an important distinction.
If your cart has independent rear suspension, select the IRS variation rather than choosing solely by gas or electric power type.
When in doubt, inspect the rear suspension before ordering or contact Pete’s Golf Carts for fitment assistance.
Why Choose a 4″ Lift?
A 4″ lift provides a versatile middle ground between a mildly lifted cart and a taller 6″ suspension setup.
Compared with stock height, it provides:
- Increased ground clearance
- Additional room for aftermarket wheels and tires
- A stronger lifted stance
- Better clearance on uneven terrain
- Greater flexibility for custom builds
- Practical everyday drivability
- Less extreme step-in height than taller lift systems
For many Yamaha Drive2 builds, 4 inches delivers a noticeable improvement in both appearance and capability without making the cart unnecessarily tall.
A-Arm Suspension Design
The AllSports kit uses an A-arm front suspension design rather than a basic spacer or block-style lift.
This gives the front of the cart a more purpose-built suspension upgrade while creating the additional ride height and clearance needed for a lifted setup.
Benefits include:
- Improved suspension geometry
- Better front-end control
- Added wheel and tire clearance
- Stronger lifted stance
- Better suitability for recreational use
- Increased adjustability after installation
Adjustable Toe & Camber
Lifting a golf cart changes front-end suspension geometry, making proper alignment especially important.
The AllSports design provides adjustable toe and camber, allowing the front suspension to be properly aligned once the lift and wheel-and-tire package are installed.
Proper adjustment can help improve:
- Straight-line tracking
- Tire wear
- Steering response
- Handling
- Overall drivability
This adjustability is particularly valuable when combining a suspension lift with wider aftermarket wheels and tires.
Improved Ground Clearance
The additional suspension height gives your Drive2 more clearance underneath the cart.
That can help with:
- Uneven pavement
- Gravel roads
- Grass
- Driveway transitions
- Mild trails
- Residential properties
- Campground use
- Recreational driving
The added clearance also gives the cart a noticeably more aggressive stance.
Designed for Larger Wheels & Tires
A 4″ lift creates additional space for larger-than-stock wheel and tire combinations.
Final tire fitment depends on several factors, including:
- Wheel diameter
- Wheel width
- Wheel offset
- Tire height
- Tire width
- Tire manufacturer
- Suspension configuration
- Passenger load
- Other aftermarket modifications
12″ or Smaller Wheel Note
When using 12″ or smaller wheels, a small wheel spacer is required to provide adequate clearance around the lift components.
Keep this requirement in mind when planning your wheel-and-tire package.
Bolt-On Installation
The AllSports 4″ A-Arm Lift Kit is designed as a bolt-on suspension upgrade.
Installation of the lift itself does not require:
- Cutting
- Welding
- Permanent chassis fabrication
Minor body trimming may still be required depending on the tire size selected.

- Fits Yamaha Drive2 2017-Present
- Three application-specific configurations
- Drive2 Electric option
- Drive2 Gas option
- Independent Rear Suspension option

- Yamaha Drive2
- 2017-Present
Available for:
- Drive2 Electric
- Drive2 Gas

Important Fitment Note
Yamaha Drive2 carts were produced with different rear suspension configurations.

Recommended Wheel & Tire Setup
A 4″ lift provides significantly more wheel and tire flexibility than a stock-height Yamaha Drive2.
Final fitment depends on:
- Wheel diameter
- Wheel width
- Wheel offset
- Tire height
- Tire width
- Actual tire dimensions
- Cart suspension configuration
- Passenger load
- Other aftermarket accessories
Wheel Clearance
12″ or smaller wheels require a small spacer to clear the lift components.
Body Clearance
Minor rocker-panel trimming may be necessary depending on tire size.
Always turn the steering from lock to lock and verify full clearance before regular use.
Installation Notes
- Select the correct Drive2 configuration before installation
- Designed as a bolt-on suspension upgrade
- No cutting required for lift installation
- No welding required
- Support the cart securely before beginning installation
- Never work beneath a cart supported only by a hydraulic jack
- Follow the supplied installation instructions for your selected configuration
- Verify steering movement through its full range
- Adjust toe and camber after installation
- Perform a front-end alignment before regular driving
- Verify wheel and tire clearance
- Use the required spacer when installing 12″ or smaller wheels
- Minor rocker-panel trimming may be required depending on tire size
