Gas and Electric Compatibility
The LITX02 light kit is for both gas and electric EZGO TXT golf carts within the 2014-up fitment range.
The lighting system requires a proper 12-volt connection regardless of the cartโs power type. Confirm the cartโs electrical configuration before installation.
12-Volt Power Requirement
The LITX02 LED light kit requires a 12-volt connection. An electric cartโs total battery-pack voltage does not necessarily mean it has a suitable 12-volt accessory output.
Do not connect the lights directly to a power source exceeding the specified 12-volt requirement. A voltage reducer or other power equipment may be required if the cart does not already provide a suitable 12-volt supply.

Installation Information
Step-by-step, printed installation instructions are included with the LED light kit.
Installation may include:
- Cutting the required headlight and taillight openings
- Mounting the light assemblies and bezels
- Routing the main lighting harness
- Installing the horn and turn-signal controls
- Installing the brake-pad component
- Connecting the system to a suitable 12-volt power source
Professional installation is recommended if you are not comfortable cutting the golf cart body or working with its electrical system.
Important Street-Legal Notice
This bundle includes several components commonly required when preparing a golf cart for street or community operation. Installing it does not automatically make the cart street legal.
