This is a speed-focused setup. If maximum pulling power, hill-climbing ability or heavy-load performance is your priority, a high-torque or speed-and-torque motor package may be a better choice.

Club Car Compatibility

Compatible applications must have:
- 36V or 48V electrical system
- Series-wound motor system
- 10-tooth differential input spline
- Compatible Series throttle configuration
This kit is NOT compatible with Club Car Regen, IQ, Excel or other SepEx drive systems.
Do not order this kit based on model year alone. Club Car used multiple electrical systems during overlapping production years, particularly during the mid-1990s and early 2000s.

About the Alltrax 400A Controller
The included Alltrax SR-48400 provides significantly more control and adjustability than a standard factory Series controller.
The programmable controller allows performance characteristics to be adjusted for the vehicle and application, including settings that can prioritize acceleration, drivability and overall efficiency.
Later Club Car Series carts commonly use a 5K-0 three-wire throttle configuration. Because throttle systems can vary on earlier carts, please confirm your cart’s configuration when ordering so the controller can be properly configured for your application.

For lifted carts, oversized tires, steep hills, heavy rear-seat loads or utility applications, we recommend considering a motor package with greater torque capability.
