Complete Club Car Factory Lithium Replacement System
A failed factory lithium battery does not mean the rest of your Club Car has reached the end of its useful life. The Eco Battery B-3131 bundle provides a complete 51.2-volt replacement system engineered to integrate with compatible Club Car factory-lithium electronics.
At the center of the bundle is Eco Batteryโs 105Ah Skinny Gen3 LiFePO4 battery. Its long, narrow case provides 5.3kWh of stored energy while fitting the included Club Car mounting system.
The included EB FLi factory-lithium integration module allows the Eco Battery system to communicate with the cartโs factory electronics. Both LG and Vanguard adapters are supplied, helping the bundle cover the Club Car factory-lithium configurations specified by Eco Battery.
This is considerably more than a replacement battery by itself. The bundle also includes the charger, display, 12-volt converter, charge port, mounting components, communication hardware and remote wake-up control required to create a coordinated system.
Standard or Heated Battery
Both versions use Eco Battery Gen3 LiFePO4 construction and provide the same 51.2-volt, 105Ah and 5.3kWh capacity.
Choose Standard when:
- The cart will normally be charged where the battery temperature remains above 32ยฐF.
- The cart is stored in a heated or temperature-controlled location during winter.
- Freezing-temperature charging is not expected.
The Standard batteryโs management system prevents charging when the internal battery temperature is below 32ยฐF. The battery must warm above freezing before charging can begin.
Choose Heated when:
- The cart may need to charge in below-freezing conditions.
- It will be stored in an unheated garage, barn or maintenance building.
- Dependable year-round charging is important.
The Heated model uses an automatic internal heating system. When connected to the charger below 32ยฐF, the system warms the cells before charging resumes. It does not require external heating pads, switches or timers.
Cold weather can still temporarily reduce available runtime. The heating system is designed to protect the cells during charging; it does not eliminate every cold-weather performance effect.

Eco Battery Gen3 Technology
The Gen3 battery uses Grade-A prismatic lithium iron phosphate cells inside an IP67-rated powder-coated steel enclosure.
Its integrated Battery Management System monitors battery operation during charging, driving and storage. The system provides protection against conditions such as overcharging, excessive discharge and unsafe cell temperatures.
CAN communication allows the battery, charger and compatible system components to exchange operating information. This provides more coordinated charging and more useful battery-status information than a voltage-only gauge.
Included 12-Volt Accessory Support
The bundle includes an A-1272 DC-to-DC converter for compatible 12-volt accessories. This is important on carts equipped with headlights, taillights, brake lights, turn signals, horns, USB outlets or other low-voltage equipment.
Accessory wiring, total electrical load and converter compatibility must still be checked during installation.
A lithium battery conversion does not by itself make a golf cart street legal. Street-legal requirements vary by location and may include specific lighting, mirrors, windshield, seat-belt, registration and insurance requirements.

Fitment
Designed for compatible Club Car golf carts originally equipped with a factory lithium battery system.
Eco Battery states that the two supplied adapters support Club Car factory-lithium configurations using LG and Vanguard systems.
This bundle is not intended for:
- Club Car carts currently powered by lead-acid batteries
- Generic 48-volt lithium conversions
- Gas-powered Club Car vehicles
- Other cart brands
- Installations that cannot accommodate the 22″ ร 9.75″ battery footprint
Before ordering, confirm that the cart was factory-equipped with lithium. When fitment is uncertain, send Peteโs Golf Carts the cartโs serial number and clear photographs of the existing battery label, battery connectors and controller compartment.
Installation Notes
Professional installation is recommended because this conversion involves high-current battery connections, CAN communication wiring, the factory-lithium integration module, charger installation, a DC-to-DC converter and vehicle-specific mounting components.
Before installation:
- Verify the cart is a compatible Club Car factory-lithium model.
- Turn the vehicle off and follow the manufacturerโs shutdown procedure.
- Remove keys and disconnect power before working on the electrical system.
- Inspect all cables, terminals and connectors for heat damage or corrosion.
- Secure the replacement battery with the supplied mounting system.
- Install the correct LG or Vanguard adapter for the vehicle.
- Route communication and charger wiring away from moving or sharp components.
- Use the supplied Eco Battery CAN charger.
- Do not connect a third-party charger or battery tender.

Freight Delivery Information
Lithium golf cart batteries of this size ship palletized by LTL freight rather than ordinary UPS or FedEx parcel service.
Inspect the pallet and packaging before accepting delivery. If visible damage is present, photograph it and note the damage with the freight carrier before signing the delivery receipt.
The selected delivery type must accurately describe the destination:
- Choose Commercial Freight Delivery for a staffed business with a forklift or loading dock.
- Choose Residential Freight Delivery for a home or any destination that requires liftgate unloading.
- A business without unloading equipment should use the Residential/Liftgate option.
Incorrect delivery information can cause delays or additional carrier charges.

Warranty coverage differs among the components included in the bundle:

The battery must be registered with Eco Battery within 60 days of purchase to retain full warranty eligibility. Proof of purchase is required, warranties are non-transferable and failure to register can reduce coverage to one year.

Can I use this in a Club Car that currently has lead-acid batteries?
No. B-3131 is a factory-lithium replacement bundle. A lead-acid-equipped cart requires a different, model-specific lithium conversion package.
What is the difference between Standard and Heated?
The Standard battery prevents charging when its internal temperature is below 32ยฐF. The Heated battery automatically warms its cells before accepting a charge in freezing conditions. Both versions provide 51.2 volts, 105Ah and 5.3kWh.
Does the heated battery require a separate switch?
No. Eco Battery describes the Gen3 heating system as automatic. When charging is attempted below freezing, it warms the cells before charging resumes.
Is the charger included?
Yes. The bundle includes an A-1055-BL 38Vโ51V 15A CAN-enabled Eco Battery charger.
Can I continue using the original Club Car charger?
No. Use the charger supplied with this bundle. Eco Battery advises against third-party chargers and battery tenders because the battery and charger are designed to communicate and operate together.
Does it include a battery meter?
Yes. The A-3109 CAN LCD state-of-charge meter is included.
Will it operate my 12-volt accessories?
The bundle includes a 40Vโ90V-input DC-to-DC converter for compatible 12-volt accessories. The installation and total accessory load must still be verified.
How far will the cart travel per charge?
There is no single accurate mileage number for every cart. The battery stores 5.3kWh, but actual range depends on cart weight, passengers, tires, speed, terrain, temperature, controller settings and accessory load.
Does lithium require watering or terminal cleaning like lead-acid batteries?
No watering or acid maintenance is required. Connections, cables, mounting hardware and the battery compartment should still be inspected periodically.
What delivery option should I choose?
Choose Commercial only when the destination is a staffed business with a forklift or loading dock. Choose Residential when the shipment is going to a home or when liftgate unloading is needed.
