A failed factory lithium battery does not necessarily mean the end of your Club Car.
The Eco Battery B-3142 51V 105Ah Thru-Hole Battery Replacement Kit provides a complete, cart-specific solution for compatible Club Car vehicles originally equipped with a factory lithium power system.
This is more than a replacement battery. The bundle includes the charger, state-of-charge display, 12-volt converter, locking charge port, remote wake-up control and EB FLi™ integration hardware needed to connect the Eco Battery system with the cartโs existing electronics.
The result is a cleaner and more complete replacement than attempting to piece together a battery, charger and assorted adapters individually.
Specifically Designed for Club Car Factory Lithium Carts
This package is intended for compatible Club Car golf carts originally equipped with factory lithium power.
Eco Battery includes two communication adapters to cover the Club Car factory lithium systems identified as:
- LG factory lithium
- Vanguard factory lithium
The included Club Car Factory Lithium Integration Module is designed to preserve necessary communication between the Eco Battery system and compatible factory electronics.
This is not a generic battery-only package, and it should not be ordered solely because the cart operates at approximately 48 volts.
Before ordering, verify:
- The cart is a compatible Club Car
- The cart was originally equipped with factory lithium
- The original factory lithium system is LG or Vanguard based

51V 105Ah GEN3 Thru-Hole LiFePO4 Battery
The centerpiece of the kit is Eco Batteryโs patented 51.2V 105Ah GEN3 Thru-Hole LiFePO4 battery.
Its compact footprint measures approximately:

Unlike the longer Skinny battery, the Thru-Hole model incorporates a center mounting tunnel. This allows the battery to be secured with a J-hook-style mounting arrangement in compatible installations.

Thru-Hole or Skinny Battery?
Eco Battery offers two different 51V 105Ah battery shapes for Club Car factory-lithium replacement applications.
This listing contains the compact Thru-Hole battery.
Choose the Thru-Hole package when its shorter, deeper footprint and center-mount design are appropriate for the available battery compartment.

Do not select between the two packages based on amp-hour capacity alone. Both are 51V 105Ah systems, but their dimensions and mounting arrangements are substantially different.
Choose Standard or Heated
Standard GEN3 Battery
The Standard battery is appropriate for carts that will normally be charged in temperatures above freezing.
Eco Batteryโs published temperature information states:
- Charging temperature: 32ยฐF and above
- Discharging temperature: approximately -4ยฐF to 140ยฐF
A standard lithium battery may still operate below freezing, but it should not be charged below its approved charging temperature.
Auto-Heated GEN3 Battery
Choose the Heated version if the cart may need to charge in temperatures below 32ยฐF.
Eco Batteryโs GEN3 auto-heating system is designed to support safe cold-weather charging without requiring separate heating pads, external switches or manual timers.
The heated battery is the better choice for:
- Northern climates
- Unheated garages
- Seasonal properties
- Winter commercial use
- Carts that may need to charge outdoors during freezing weather
Cold temperatures can still reduce available runtime. Always follow Eco Batteryโs current charging, storage and temperature instructions.
Advanced GEN3 Battery Management System
Eco Batteryโs GEN3 Battery Management System monitors battery operation and communicates with compatible charging and vehicle components.
The system is designed to monitor conditions such as:
- Battery voltage
- Charge and discharge activity
- Cell behavior
- Temperature
- High-current operation
- Charging communication
- System protection events
GEN3 batteries also support Bluetooth connectivity through the Eco Battery mobile app for compatible monitoring and software functions.
CAN-Enabled 15-Amp Charger
The kit includes an Eco Battery 38V-51V 15A CAN charger.
CAN communication allows the charger and battery management system to exchange charging information instead of relying solely on a fixed voltage profile.
This helps the system manage charging according to the batteryโs operating condition and provides a more integrated charging experience than a generic lithium charger.
Only use the supplied charger or another charger specifically approved by Eco Battery for the installed battery.
CAN LCD State-of-Charge Meter
The included round CAN LCD state-of-charge meter gives the driver a dedicated battery display.
Depending on system status, the meter can display information such as:
- Battery percentage
- System voltage
- Current flow
- Charge status
The CAN-based display receives battery information directly from the Eco Battery system, providing more useful information than a conventional lead-acid voltage meter.
Factory Lithium Integration Module
The included integration module is a critical part of this bundle.
It connects the Eco Battery system with compatible Club Car factory electronics and includes adapters for the LG and Vanguard factory lithium configurations supported by Eco Battery.
This integration helps preserve the electronic communication needed for a proper factory-lithium replacement rather than treating the installation as a basic universal battery conversion.
Locking Club Car Charge Port
The included Club Car locking charge port provides a clean, cart-specific connection for the supplied charger.
The locking design helps keep the charging plug securely connected and contributes to a more factory-finished installation.
Remote Battery Wake-Up Button
GEN3 Eco Batteries use a remote wake-up system rather than requiring the owner to access the battery compartment whenever the battery enters its storage or power-save state.
The included remote push button can be installed in a convenient location and used to wake the battery when required.
12-Volt DC-DC Converter
The supplied DC-DC converter changes the battery packโs higher voltage into approximately 12-volt power for compatible accessories.
That 12-volt system may support properly rated equipment such as:
- Headlights and taillights
- Turn-signal systems
- Horns
- Brake-light systems
- USB charging ports
- Radios and audio accessories
- Other compatible 12-volt equipment

Actual driving range will vary based on:
- Cart model and programming

Because range is affected by the complete vehicle, a specific mileage figure should not be guaranteed for every cart.
Maintenance-Free LiFePO4 Power
Compared with traditional flooded lead-acid batteries, the Eco Battery system eliminates routine battery watering and acid-related corrosion.
There is no need to:
- Check water levels
- Add distilled water
- Clean acid residue from multiple battery terminals
- Equalize a conventional lead-acid pack
- Replace multiple individual batteries at different times
Normal inspection of cables, mounting hardware, the charge port and electrical connections is still recommended.

Installation Tips
This is a high-voltage electrical system and should be installed by a qualified golf-cart or electrical technician.
Before beginning:
- Turn off and isolate vehicle power
- Remove the key
- Follow the Eco Battery installation instructions
- Verify the cartโs factory lithium configuration
- Confirm battery polarity
- Inspect all cables and connectors
- Confirm the battery compartment is structurally sound
- Obtain the required J-hook
- Use appropriate lifting equipment and assistance
The battery weighs approximately 98 pounds. Use safe lifting practices and do not attempt to lift or position it carelessly.
During installation:
- Secure the battery using the approved thru-hole mounting method
- Install the included 7/16″-14 J-hook top nut
- Connect the correct LG or Vanguard adapter
- Install the factory-lithium integration module
- Mount the DC-DC converter in a ventilated, protected location
- Install the locking charge port
- Install the CAN LCD meter
- Install the remote wake-up button
- Route wiring away from steering, suspension and sharp edges
- Secure all cables against vibration and abrasion
- Confirm polarity before energizing the system
After installation:
- Verify that all connections are fully seated
- Confirm the battery wakes normally
- Confirm the SOC meter powers on
- Confirm the charger communicates and begins charging
- Test factory vehicle functions
- Test 12-volt accessories
- Inspect for fault codes or warning indicators
- Secure all wiring before driving
