This is a practical choice for Precedent owners who need a basic headlight-and-taillight package without the horn, turn signals, or brake controls found in a Street Legal light kit.
Fits Gas and Electric Club Car Precedent Models
The SGC LIPR01 is designed for:

Important Harness Requirements
SGC identifies the following harness requirements for the LIPR01:
- 2004โ2008 Club Car Precedent: LIPR01 installs without an additional bucket harness
- 2008-up gas Club Car Precedent: Requires the SGC LHPR01 gas light harness
- 2008-up electric Club Car Precedent: Requires the SGC LHPR02 electric bucket harness
The LHPR01 and LHPR02 supplemental harnesses are not included with the individual LIPR01 Basic Light Kit.
If your cart is a 2008 model, inspect its wiring configuration and power type before ordering. Production changes during the model year may affect which harness is required.
Basic LED Headlight and Taillight Package
The LIPR01 is classified as a Basic LED Light Kit. It adds front headlights and rear taillights without the additional road-use controls included in a Street Legal lighting package.
SGC does not identify the following components as included with the individual LIPR01:
- Turn-signal assembly
- Horn
- Brake pad or brake-light switch
- Deluxe control harness
- LHPR01 gas light harness
- LHPR02 electric bucket harness

Requires a 12-Volt Connection
The SGC LIPR01 operates from a 12-volt connection.
Before installation, verify that your Club Car Precedent has the correct electrical connection and any supplemental harness required for its year and power type. Do not connect the kit directly to an unsupported higher-voltage source.
Consult a qualified golf cart technician if you are unsure which wiring harness your cart requires.
Model-Specific Headlight Bezels
The included headlights use injection-molded plastic bezels designed for the Club Car Precedent body.
The bezels feature tapered mounting holes to help position the assemblies during installation and provide a clean, cart-specific appearance.
Wiring Harness and Mounting Hardware Included
The LIPR01 includes its basic light-kit wiring harness and mounting hardware. Step-by-step installation instructions are also provided.
The basic harness included with LIPR01 should not be confused with the supplemental LHPR01 gas harness or LHPR02 electric bucket harness required for certain 2008-up carts.
Professional installation is recommended if you are unfamiliar with golf cart wiring or lighting-system installation.

The SGC LIPR01 fits 2004-up Club Car Precedent gas and electric golf carts when installed with the correct wiring configuration.
It does not fit:
- Club Car DS
- Club Car Tempo
- Club Car Onward
- Other Club Car models unless specifically confirmed
- Applications without a compatible 12-volt connection
