Complete the electrical connection for an LED light-kit installation with the SGC LHPR01 Club Car Precedent Gas Light Harness.
This supplemental harness is designed specifically for 2008 and newer gas-powered Club Car Precedent golf carts that were not factory-equipped with the light harness needed for an LED light kit.
The LHPR01 is strictly for gas-powered carts. It is not a complete light kit and does not include headlights or taillights.
Designed for Gas-Powered Club Car Precedent Carts
The SGC LHPR01 is designed for:

This harness is not intended for electric Club Car Precedent carts.
If you have a 2008-up electric Precedent, use the SGC LHPR02 Electric Bucket Harness instead.
Why This Supplemental Harness Is Needed
SGC specifies that 2008-up Club Car Precedent carts were not equipped with the light harness required for its current LED light kit.
The LHPR01 provides the supplemental gas-cart harness needed when installing a compatible SGC light kit on these applications.
It should not be confused with the basic wiring harness packaged with the light kit itself. Both harnesses perform different roles within the complete installation.

The LHPR01 is designed to support installation of the SGC LIPR01 Club Car Precedent Basic LED Light Kit on compatible 2008-up gas carts.
The LIPR01 provides the headlights, taillights, basic wiring harness, bezels, and mounting hardware. The LHPR01 supplies the additional gas-cart harness required for the later Precedent application.

The SGC LHPR01 is a supplemental wiring harness. It does not include:
- Headlights
- Taillights

- Complete Street Legal light kit
Purchase the compatible LED light kit separately unless ordering the combined SGC bundle.
Installation Considerations
Confirm the cartโs model year and power type before beginning installation. Club Car Precedent gas and electric carts require different supplemental harnesses.
Disconnect the cartโs electrical power before working on its lighting system. Route and secure the harness away from moving components, sharp edges, and heated engine parts.
Professional installation is recommended if you are unfamiliar with golf cart electrical systems.
After installation:
- Inspect every electrical connection
