Rugged Front-End Styling for the Club Car Precedent
The SGC BGPR01 Brush Guard adds a substantial, trail-ready appearance to the front of a Club Car Precedent while providing an additional barrier against light brush, branches and ordinary trail debris.
Its Precedent-specific design uses a wide lower rail, large upper protective hoop and vehicle-specific mounting structure. The black finish coordinates naturally with factory trim, black wheels, powder-coated accessories and off-road builds.
SS304 Steel with a Black Powder-Coated Finish
BGPR01 is manufactured from SS304 steel and finished with a professional black powder coating. The coating creates a uniform dark appearance while helping protect the metal surface from ordinary outdoor exposure and everyday wear.
This is a vehicle-specific Precedent accessory—not a universal guard that requires improvised mounting.

Steeleng currently identifies BGPR01 as being redesigned, with availability expected during the first quarter of 2027.
Accessory-Light Mounting
The current BGPR01 design includes two mounting tabs positioned along the horizontal rail. These may provide useful mounting locations for compatible auxiliary lights.
Auxiliary lights, wiring, switches and mounting hardware for those lights are not included. Confirm the dimensions and mounting requirements of any light before installation.
Do not assume that installing auxiliary lights or this brush guard makes a golf cart street legal.

Customers building a street-use cart should review local regulations and select a properly configured Club Car Precedent light-kit package rather than relying on auxiliary lights alone.

Golf cart, auxiliary lights, wiring, bumper components and other accessories are not included.
Installation Notes
Park the cart on a flat surface, engage the parking brake and switch the key off before installation. Identify the correct mounting locations and inspect the included hardware before positioning the guard.
Install the fasteners loosely at first. Center the brush guard, check clearance around the body and other accessories, and then tighten the hardware evenly.
Confirm that the installed guard does not interfere with steering, suspension movement, headlights, body panels or other front-mounted components. Recheck the mounting hardware after the first several trips and periodically during routine maintenance.
Because BGPR01 is currently being redesigned, always use the instructions and hardware supplied with the final production version.
Professional installation is recommended whenever the installer is uncertain about model identification, mounting points, lighting or accessory clearance.
Important Protection Notice
This brush guard is intended to help protect the cart from light brush, branches and ordinary trail debris. It is not a crash bar, structural safety component or occupant-protection device.
It cannot prevent vehicle damage during a collision or impact with a tree, post, vehicle or other fixed object.
Cleaning and Powder-Coat Care
Clean the guard with mild soap, water and a soft cloth or sponge. Rinse away mud, fertilizer, road salt and other contaminants, then dry the surface to reduce spotting.
Avoid steel wool, harsh solvents and abrasive cleaners that may scratch or dull the powder-coated finish. Inspect the coating periodically, particularly around mounting points and areas exposed to trail debris.
