Club Car Precedent Street Legal Light Kit Upgrade
Add horn, turn-signal, and brake-light controls to a compatible Club Car Precedent lighting system with the SGC LIDX01 Street Legal Light Kit Upgrade.
SGC refers to the LIDX01 as its Deluxe Light Kit for Club Car Precedent. The kit includes a brake pad, horn, turn-signal assembly, and wiring harness for customers who already haveโor plan to purchaseโa compatible LED headlight-and-taillight kit.
LED headlights and taillights are not included. Pair the LIDX01 with the SGC LIPR01 LED Light Kit or purchase the complete BNDL-LIPR01-LIDX01 bundle.
Adds Horn, Turn Signals and Brake-Light Controls
The LIDX01 expands a compatible headlight-and-taillight system with additional signaling and warning components.
SGC identifies the following functions:
- Horn
- Left and right turn signals
- Brake-light control through the included brake pad
- Wiring harness for the Deluxe upgrade components
These additions are commonly used when preparing a golf cart for neighborhood or public-road operation.
Street-legal equipment requirements vary by location. Installing the LIDX01 does not automatically make a golf cart legal for public-road use.
LED Light Kit Sold Separately
The SGC LIDX01 does not include an LED headlight-and-taillight kit.
For a compatible SGC lighting system, purchase the Club Car Precedent Basic LED Light Kit, part number LIPR01, separately.
The LIPR01 supplies:

Additional Harness Requirements for 2008-Up Carts
The harness included with LIDX01 operates the Deluxe upgrade components. It should not be confused with the supplemental power-specific harness required for certain later-model Precedent carts.
When pairing LIDX01 with the SGC LIPR01 LED Light Kit:
- 2004โ2008 Club Car Precedent: SGC lists LIPR01 without an additional bucket harness
- 2008-up gas Club Car Precedent: LIPR01 requires the SGC LHPR01 gas light harness
- 2008-up electric Club Car Precedent: LIPR01 requires the SGC LHPR02 electric bucket harness
The LHPR01 and LHPR02 are not identified as included with LIDX01 or the BNDL-LIPR01-LIDX01 bundle.
If your cart is a 2008 model, inspect its power type and wiring configuration before ordering.

The individual LIDX01 upgrade kit does not include:
- LED headlights

After installation:
- Test the left and right turn signals
- Confirm that the horn operates properly
- Confirm that the brake lights activate when the brake pedal is pressed
- Verify that the headlights and taillights continue to operate
- Inspect every electrical connection

- Confirm that the controls do not interfere with steering
