EZGO MPT and Workhorse 1200 Gas 6″ Drop Axle Lift Kit
Give your gas-powered EZGO utility cart additional ground clearance, room for larger tires, and a commanding lifted stance with the SGC LKTX11 6″ Drop Axle Lift Kit. Designed specifically for 2001.5–2013 gas EZGO MPT and Workhorse 1200 models, this complete front-and-rear suspension system replaces the original front axle with a purpose-built drop axle to raise the vehicle approximately six inches.
The LKTX11 is an excellent upgrade for customized utility carts, property-maintenance vehicles, campground carts, hunting builds, and recreational EZGO MPT or Workhorse projects.
Fits 2001.5–2013 Gas EZGO Utility Models
The SGC LKTX11 is designed for:
- 2001.5–2013 EZGO MPT models
- 2001.5–2013 EZGO Workhorse 1200 models
- Gas-powered vehicles only
- Factory-style suspension configurations
- Carts with the newer four-bolt steering-column mounting pattern
Important: This kit does not fit electric EZGO models or older three-bolt utility-cart configurations. Verify the vehicle model, production year, gas powertrain, and steering-column mounting pattern before ordering.
Check the Steering-Column Bolt Pattern
Inspect the area where the steering column attaches near the floorboard:
- Four-bolt mounting pattern: Newer 2001.5–2013 configuration; use this LKTX11 lift kit
- Three-bolt mounting pattern: Older 1994–2001.5 configuration; use the corresponding older-style lift kit
Checking the bolt pattern is especially important on vehicles manufactured near the 2001.5 model transition.
Six-Inch Drop-Axle Lift Design
The LKTX11 replaces the original front axle with a heavy-duty drop axle, providing approximately six inches of lift while maintaining secure steering and suspension mounting points.
Rear lift components raise the back of the vehicle to create a balanced lifted stance from front to rear. The complete system provides additional underbody clearance, more room around the wheel openings, and a stronger custom appearance for your EZGO utility cart.
Clearance for Tires Up to 22 Inches
This 6-inch EZGO MPT and Workhorse lift kit accommodates tires up to 22 inches tall when paired with properly offset wheels.
Actual tire clearance may vary based on wheel width, wheel offset, tire profile, suspension condition, vehicle load, and installed accessories. Offset wheels are required when installing larger tires with this lift kit.
Complete Front-and-Rear Lift System
The LKTX11 includes the replacement front drop axle, rear suspension lift components, mounting brackets, and hardware required for the conversion.
Heavy-duty steel components feature a durable black powder-coated finish for corrosion resistance. Quality-tested Class 8.8 hardware provides dependable fastening strength throughout the suspension system.
Bolt-On Installation
The LKTX11 is engineered as a bolt-on suspension lift that does not normally require cutting or welding. Step-by-step installation instructions are included.
Professional installation is recommended if you are unfamiliar with golf cart steering or suspension systems. A proper front-end alignment should be completed after installation. Inspect the steering and suspension components and retorque all mounting hardware following the initial break-in period.
