Important: This lift kit does not fit gas-powered EZGO TXT models. EZGO introduced a midyear design change during 2001, so verify your cart’s steering-column mounting pattern before ordering.
Check the Steering-Column Bolt Pattern
Inspect the area where the steering column attaches near the floorboard:
- Four-bolt mounting pattern: Newer 2001.5–2013 configuration; use this LKTX04 lift kit
- Three-bolt mounting pattern: Older 1994–2001.5 configuration; a different lift kit is required
Checking the mounting pattern is the most reliable way to identify the correct suspension generation when working with a cart manufactured near the 2001.5 transition.
Five Inches of Lift for Greater Clearance
The LKTX04 raises the front and rear of your EZGO TXT approximately five inches. The added ride height creates more underbody clearance, additional space around the wheel openings, and room for a larger golf cart wheel and tire package.
This kit uses a block-style suspension lift rather than a replacement drop axle, allowing it to retain the cart’s original axle configuration.

This 5-inch EZGO TXT lift kit accommodates tires up to 22 inches tall when paired with properly offset wheels.
Actual tire clearance may vary depending on wheel width, wheel offset, tire profile, suspension condition, passenger load, and installed accessories. Offset wheels are required when installing larger tires with this kit.

The LKTX04 uses heavy-duty lift blocks, risers, brackets, and extenders to reposition the factory suspension components and create a consistent lifted stance from front to rear.
