This application-specific suspension lift is designed for 2017 and newer electric Yamaha Drive2 Fleet carts equipped with a solid rear axle. The kit replaces the stock front axle configuration with a high-strength A-arm design and provides the rear lift components needed for the solid-axle Fleet application.
With six inches of added lift, the LKYM11 accommodates tires up to 23 inches tall when used with properly offset wheels.

Yamaha Drive2 golf carts were manufactured with different powertrain and rear-suspension configurations. Choosing a lift kit that matches the cart’s exact configuration is essential for proper installation.

This kit does not fit gas Drive2 carts or electric Drive2 models equipped with independent rear suspension.
If your electric Drive2 has independent rear suspension, verify whether the SGC LKYM10 is the appropriate application instead.
How to Identify a Solid Rear Axle
A solid-rear-axle Yamaha Drive2 uses one continuous axle assembly connecting the two rear wheels. Both wheels are linked through the same axle housing.
An independent rear suspension model uses separate suspension assemblies that allow each rear wheel to move independently.
Inspect the rear suspension before ordering. Do not rely on the cart’s year or power type alone, because Drive2 configurations can vary.
Six-Inch A-Arm Suspension Lift
The LKYM11 replaces the factory front axle with an A-arm suspension design engineered to establish the geometry required for a six-inch lift.

Offset wheels are required when installing 23-inch tires. Always inspect clearance between the tires, body, steering, and suspension throughout the complete turning range before operating the cart.
Rear Springs for Heavily Loaded Carts
Steeleng recommends upgrading the rear springs when the cart carries substantial additional weight, particularly when running 23-inch tires.
Rear seats, additional passengers, cargo beds, tools, batteries, and other accessories can compress the factory suspension and reduce available tire clearance. Heavy-duty rear springs can help support the added weight and reduce the possibility of tire rubbing.
Heavy-duty rear springs are not identified as included with the LKYM11 and may need to be purchased separately. Confirm spring compatibility with the electric Drive2 Fleet solid-axle suspension before ordering.
Bolt-On Installation
The SGC LKYM11 is designed as a bolt-on Yamaha Drive2 lift kit, with no modification normally required. Step-by-step installation instructions and high-strength mounting hardware are included.
Steeleng estimates approximately one to three hours for installation. Actual installation time will depend on the installer’s experience, available tools, and the condition of the cart.
Professional installation is recommended if you are unfamiliar with golf cart steering and suspension work.
After installation:
