The MadJax 6″ Heavy-Duty A-Arm Lift Kit gives early Club Car DS golf carts the clearance, strength, and aggressive stance needed for larger tires and more demanding terrain. Unlike a basic block or spindle lift, this system replaces major front suspension components with a heavy-duty A-arm assembly designed to provide increased height and longer suspension travel.

Its formed-steel lower A-arms feature integrated debris louvers and a laser-cut MadJax logo, combining rugged construction with a clean, performance-oriented appearance. Oversized 5/8″ heim joints, urethane bushings, and grease fittings add durability and allow important suspension points to be serviced over time.

With six inches of lift and support for tires up to 23″ tall, this kit is ideal for trail carts, hunting carts, campground builds, and customized DS models that need maximum clearance and a commanding lifted profile.

Important: The broad “1982-2003” title does not apply equally to both powertrains. Gas compatibility begins with the 1996.5 model year.

Recommended Tire Size

This 6″ lift kit is designed to accommodate:

• Up to 23″ tall tires
• Popular 22″ and 23″ lifted golf cart tire packages
• A wide range of street, all-terrain, and off-road tread options

Actual tire clearance depends on wheel offset, tire width, tread design, rear seat kits, spring condition, and the total load carried by the cart.

Installation Notes

• Complete front and rear suspension lift
• Factory front suspension assembly is removed
• Front wheels must be properly aligned after installation
• Grease all upper and lower A-arm fittings during installation
• Recheck the components and alignment after the first hour of driving
• Regrease fittings and verify hardware security after approximately 50 hours of use
• Inspect the rear spring bushings during installation and replace worn or rusted bushings as needed
• Heavy-duty rear leaf springs are recommended for carts carrying a rear seat, cargo box, or frequent heavy loads

Tech Tip: Complete the build with a 22″ or 23″ wheel and tire package. Carts equipped with rear seating or used for hauling may also benefit from heavy-duty rear leaf springs.
