Build a Taller, More Capable Club Car DS
The MadJax 6″ A-Arm Lift Kit gives early Club Car DS golf carts the additional ride height and ground clearance needed for a more aggressive appearance and improved performance on uneven terrain.
Unlike a basic lift that only repositions factory components, this kit replaces the original front suspension assembly with a complete A-arm system. The revised suspension geometry increases wheel travel and provides adjustable camber and toe, allowing the front end to be properly aligned after installation.
The included rear lift blocks and shock mounting plates raise the rear of the cart to match the front, creating a complete and level six-inch suspension lift. Urethane bushings, grease fittings, and a durable powder-coated finish help provide lasting performance while allowing key suspension points to be maintained over time.
This kit is an excellent foundation for trail carts, hunting carts, campground cruisers, and customized Club Car DS builds that need additional clearance without moving into a more complex long-travel suspension system.

Recommended Tire Size
This lift kit is designed to accommodate:
- Up to 23″ tall tires
- Popular lifted street, turf, and all-terrain tire packages
- Aftermarket golf cart wheels suitable for lifted applications
Actual clearance can vary based on tire width, tread design, wheel offset, spring condition, rear seat installation, and the total load carried by the cart. Nivel specifically rates this kit for tires up to 20″ tall.
Installation Notes
- The factory front suspension assembly and A-arms are removed
- The factory wheel hubs and steel dust covers are reused
- Front and rear suspension components are included
- Grease all fittings during installation
- Inspect the rear leaf-spring bushings for rust or wear
- Both camber and toe must be adjusted after installation
- Apply thread-locking adhesive to the upper and lower spindle hardware as directed
- A complete front-end alignment is required before operating the cart
**Improper alignment can negatively affect steering control, handling, and tire wear. The front wheels must be properly aligned after installation.
