Why Is the Additional Gas Harness Included?
2008-up Club Car Precedent gas carts were not equipped with the light harness needed for its current LED light kit.
The included LHPR01 is a supplemental, gas-specific harness. It works with the main wiring harness supplied with the LIPR01 light kit; it does not replace the light kitโs primary harness.
Basic Light Kit Classification
This is a Basic LED lighting package. It provides the headlights, taillights, wiring, and gas-specific supplemental harness needed for the listed application.
The bundle does NOT include:
- Horn
- Turn-signal controls
- Brake-light activation equipment
- Low/high-beam controls
- Street-legal accessory package

Gas Models Only
The included LHPR01 harness is strictly for gas-powered Club Car Precedent golf carts.
Do not order this bundle for an electric Precedent. The electric application uses a different supplemental harness and should be matched using the cartโs model year and power type.
12-Volt Power Requirement
The LIPR01 LED light kit requires a 12-volt connection. Confirm that the cart provides a suitable 12-volt accessory power source before installation.
Do not connect the lights directly to a power source exceeding the specified 12-volt requirement. Contact Peteโs Golf Carts if you need help confirming your cartโs electrical configuration.
Installation Information
SGC provides step-by-step installation instructions with the light kit. Installation involves cutting the required body openings, mounting the headlights and taillights, routing the main wiring harness, adding the gas-specific supplemental harness, and connecting the system to an appropriate 12-volt power source.
Professional installation is recommended if you are not comfortable cutting the golf cart body or working with its electrical system.
