Important 2008-Up Harness Requirement
This bundle includes the LIPR01 main light-kit harness and the LIDX01 Deluxe control harness. It does not include the additional gas or electric harness required by certain 2008-up Club Car Precedent carts.
SGC lists the fitment as follows:
- Club Car Precedent 2004-2008: LIPR01 installs without an additional bucket harness
- Club Car Precedent 2008-up gas: Requires the LHPR01 gas light harness
- Club Car Precedent 2008-up electric: Requires the LHPR02 electric bucket harness
Because SGCโs fitment ranges overlap at the 2008 model year, owners of 2008 carts should inspect their existing harness configuration before ordering.
The LHPR01 and LHPR02 supplemental harnesses are not included with this bundle unless specifically added separately.
Why This Is the Street Legal Version
The LIPR01 Basic kit provides the headlights and taillights. The included LIDX01 upgrade adds the following functions:
- Horn
- Turn signals
- SGC-listed brake-pad component
- Precedent-specific Deluxe harness
SGC does not list low/high-beam controls or app-controlled accent colors as features of this bundle.
12-Volt Power Requirement
The LIPR01 LED light kit requires a 12-volt connection. Confirm that your Club Car Precedent provides a suitable 12-volt accessory power source before installation.
Do not connect the lights directly to a power source exceeding the specified 12-volt requirement. Electric carts may require additional equipment to provide the correct 12-volt supply.
The LHPR02 electric bucket harness is not a voltage reducer.
Installation Information
SGC provides step-by-step installation instructions with the LED light kit. Installation may include:
- Cutting the required headlight and taillight openings
- Mounting the light assemblies and bezels
- Routing the main lighting harness
- Installing the horn and turn-signal controls
- Installing the brake-pad component
- Connecting the system to a suitable 12-volt power source
- Adding the appropriate supplemental harness on applicable 2008-up carts
Professional installation is recommended if you are not comfortable cutting the cart body or working with its electrical system.
