Yes, these 18.5″ tall tires (215/40-12) are not only DOT Approved street tires but they can fit on your EZGO or Yamaha golf cart WITHOUT A LIFT KIT! Make sure you’re rear leaf springs or Yamaha Coil springs are in good shape – especially if you have a golf cart rear seat kit with extra weight.
If you are looking to fit them on a Club Car, it is possible that you will need a 1″ golf cart block lift kit to fit these 18.5″ tall tires. Club Car Precedent, Onward & Tempo carts often have a rectangular wire harness protruding into the passenger side wheel well. This is what occasionally causes rubbing with a 18.5″-19.5″ tires in the front.
