Upgrade your gas-powered EZGO TXT or Medalist with additional ground clearance, room for larger tires, and a tougher custom stance using the SGC LKTX03 4″ Drop Axle Lift Kit. Designed for 1994–2001.5 gas EZGO TXT and Medalist golf carts, this complete front-and-rear suspension lift replaces the original front axle with a purpose-built drop axle to raise the cart approximately four inches.

Fits 1994–2001.5 Gas EZGO TXT and Medalist Models
The SGC LKTX03 is designed for:
- 1994–2001.5 EZGO TXT and Medalist golf carts
- Gas-powered models only
- Factory-style suspension configurations
- Carts with the older three-bolt steering-column mounting pattern
Important: This lift kit does not fit electric EZGO models. EZGO introduced a midyear design change during 2001, so verify your cart’s steering-column mounting pattern before ordering.
Check the Steering-Column Bolt Pattern
Inspect the area where the steering column attaches near the floorboard:
- Three-bolt mounting pattern: Older 1994–2001.5 configuration; use this LKTX03 lift kit
- Four-bolt mounting pattern: Newer 2001.5-and-later configuration; a different lift kit is required
Checking the bolt pattern is the most reliable way to identify the correct suspension generation when working with a cart manufactured near the 2001.5 transition.
Heavy-Duty Drop-Axle Lift Design
The LKTX03 replaces the original front axle with a purpose-built drop axle, providing approximately four inches of lift while maintaining secure suspension mounting points.
Rear lift components raise the back of the cart to create a consistent lifted stance from front to rear. This complete system provides additional underbody clearance and room for a larger golf cart wheel and tire package.
Clearance for Tires Up to 22 Inches
This 4-inch EZGO TXT and Medalist lift kit accommodates tires up to 22 inches tall when paired with properly offset wheels.
Actual tire clearance may vary based on wheel width, wheel offset, tire profile, suspension condition, passenger load, and installed accessories. Offset wheels are required when installing larger tires with this lift kit.
Bolt-On Installation
The LKTX03 is engineered as a bolt-on suspension lift that does not normally require cutting or welding. The replacement drop axle, rear lift components, Class 8.8 mounting hardware, and step-by-step installation instructions are included.
Professional installation is recommended if you are unfamiliar with golf cart steering or suspension systems. A proper front-end alignment should be completed after installation. Inspect and retorque all mounting hardware following the initial break-in period.
