- Please note – Removal of your factory installed steering wheel will require a few additional tools. Things like a basic socket and ratchet set, screw driver, and a little muscle. Especially if you own an older cart because you must remember it has been on there for years…. Once removed though Pete’s new steering wheel will install in minutes… Remember to note alignment or position of old steering wheel prior to removal so you can secure your new one without issue. You will want to start the installation with the golf cart steering wheel centered and tires facing straight forward.
