All our GEM car motors are vented to withstand higher operating temperatures and perform better. Rated at 6000 RPM whereas the stock GEM motor is only rated at 4000 RPM. Capable of 4100 RPM
Pete’s High Speed Electric GEM Car Motor is capable of even higher RPMs if so desired with controller reprogramming. Speeds of 40MPH+ are attainable with the right set up. This motor will replace the 3.5HP, 5hp, and 7hp motors no problem. Easy installation Plug-N-Play!
Hit top speeds of around 25 mph depending on tire/wheel size and pressures being used. This set up is ideal for a street cart, community cruising and mostly flat terrain.
